The Nukes Only News Report: Issue #18

April 10, 2025

Hello and welcome back to the best damn golf week of the year.
The Masters is upon us.

And before those opening tee shots get fired off at Augusta National, we’ve got a quick-hit preview packed with:
🎯 Names to watch
🔥 Storylines that matter
👀 Why you should care

Let’s dive right in:

Pro Spotlights

Min Woo Lee heads back to the Masters after his first career PGA victory

Min Woo Lee Is Ready for the Spotlight

Coming off his first career PGA Tour win just two weeks ago in Houston, Min Woo Lee heads to Augusta for the fourth time in his young career.

And somehow… he's still flying under the radar.

The Aussie’s got all the tools:
🚀 Massive carry distance (a huge asset if the course plays soft at all)
🎯 Elite short game & Augusta experience
🧑‍🍳 And now? A win under his belt and new Lululemon drip to match

This course is tailor-made for his game.
Let. Him. Cook.

Ludvig Aberg returns to Augusta after a solo 2nd in his debut last year

Somehow Ludvig Aberg is Still Being Slept On

Yes, it’s been a weird stretch -
🤒 Battling illness
📉 Some shaky approach numbers
⛔ Two straight missed cuts

But let’s not forget:
🏆 Won The Genesis at Torrey in February
🔥 Nearly won the Masters in his debut last year (solo 2nd)
🚀 And when he’s on, his ball-striking rivals anyone on Earth

It’s easy to forget in golf. But Ludvig’s ceiling? Still major-championship-level high.

Am Spotlights

Josele Ballester makes his second career Major appearance this week at The Masters

Josele Ballester Looks to Make a Splash

The reigning U.S. Amateur champ makes his Masters debut this week - and gets thrown straight into the fire with Justin Thomas and Scottie Scheffler for his first two rounds.

Ballester’s been rock solid all year though:
🔝 Steady Top 10 in PGA Tour U
📈 Made the cut at the Mexico Open with a strong Sunday finish
🔥 And now joins fellow Sun Devils like Rahm and Phil in Augusta lore

This is a big test - but Ballester has all the tools to pass it with flying colors.

Noah Kent will cut his teeth with the pros this spring before joining UF for the fall

Noah Kent is Back In Action

While he’s sitting out this college season ahead of joining the Florida Gators in the fall, Noah Kent continues stacking pro experience.

After a solid showing in Houston, Kent showed up at Augusta this week and got in a practice round with Rory. Not a bad way to prep for your future.

Don’t be shocked if we hear a lot more from him very soon.

Wildcard(s) of the Week

Rasmus and Nico Hojgaard make history this week as the first twins to tee it up at Augusta

The Højgaard Twins = Pure Chaos Potential

Wildcard alert.

This week, both Rasmus and Nicolai Højgaard make their Masters debut.
(As Rasmus is joining Nico in the field for the first time.)

Nicolai flashed big time last year with a surprise top-20 finish in his debut - and both brothers bring:
💣 Insane power
🎨 Shotmaking creativity
😵‍💫 Spieth-style volatility on steroids

Could they miss the cut? Absolutely.
Could one of them be leading on Sunday afternoon? Also very possible.

Whatever happens - it certainly won’t be boring.

Enjoy every second of Masters Week.
If you’re lucky enough to be at Augusta—soak it up.

Got any sleepers or fan favorites we should be watching? Drop us a line.
We’ll be back next week with the regular rundown. Until then -

See you Sunday. Green jackets only.
